Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A
Robert Half, in partnership with IQ Geo, are seeking to appoint a Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A—a pivotal role backed by private equity leader KKR. IQ Geo powers the modern world by helping telecommunications, utility, and infrastructure operators build and manage critical networks through innovative software solutions.
Entering a dynamic phase of international expansion, IQ Geo is looking for a financial leader to collaborate with the CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team, driving performance, value creation, and long-term growth.
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A will lead global planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic finance, shaping critical decisions in a fast-scaling, private equity-backed business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Oversee company-wide performance reporting, KPI management, and executive business reviews
- Partner with Executive Leadership to enhance decision-making and improve commercial performance
- Provide financial leadership across Revenue, Delivery, Product, and Corporate functions
- Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions
- Lead ARR, revenue, profitability, and operational performance analysis
- Support pricing strategy, resource allocation, and growth initiatives
- Provide strategic financial insights into product investments, roadmap decisions, and technology spend
- Support Board and shareholder reporting with forward-looking analysis
- Partner with leadership to deliver the company’s value-creation strategy
- Assess M&A activity, including valuation, modelling, and synergy analysis
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing Strategic Finance & FP&A team
- Drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, and business partnering

Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven success in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Services
- Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong financial modelling, planning, and analytical capabilities
- Background in software, SaaS, technology, or high-growth businesses
- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing finance teams
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to simplify complex data into actionable insight
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven, evolving environment

Highly Desirable
- Experience in a private equity-backed business
- Exposure to value creation programmes and investor reporting
- M&A, transaction, or corporate development experience
- Understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, revenue forecasting)
