The Company
A leading UK construction and infrastructure business with revenues exceeding £2bn and ambitious growth plans over the coming years, they are entering an exciting phase of expansion, transformation and continued investment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high profile role responsible for Group reporting, external reporting, consolidations and technical accounting across the organisation. Acting as the business's technical accounting lead, you'll provide expert IFRS guidance, support key business initiatives and transactions, and work closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.

- Owning the Group consolidation and financial reporting process.
- Leading monthly, annual and statutory reporting activities.
- Managing the Group audit process.
- Providing technical accounting expertise and IFRS guidance.
- Preparing technical accounting papers and supporting significant business transactions.
- Leading impairment reviews and valuation related work.
- Supporting the continued development of a strong financial controls framework.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to senior leadership.
What You Need
- ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
- Experience of Group reporting and consolidations within a large, complex business.
- Exposure to technical accounting projects, transactions or corporate events.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Construction, infrastructure, property or real estate experience.
- Experience with joint ventures and complex contractual arrangements.
