Director of FP&A | Initial 6-Month Contract | £650 to £700 per day (inside IR35) | Central London
Altum Consulting is partnering with a global hospitality group to appoint an experienced Director of FP&A on an initial six-month contract.
This senior leadership role will take ownership of group financial planning, performance management, and strategic analysis across a portfolio of international brands. The successful candidate will provide clear commercial insight to executive stakeholders, strengthen financial discipline, and improve visibility of performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts across multiple business units
- Develop driver-based financial models, scenario analysis, and strategic business cases
- Oversee monthly and quarterly performance reviews, identifying key risks and opportunities
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and commercial KPIs, including occupancy, yield, pricing, and segment profitability
- Prepare high-quality reporting and presentations for the Board, shareholders, and lenders
- Enhance FP&A reporting capabilities through Power BI or equivalent analytics tools
- Improve the quality, consistency, and accessibility of data across multiple systems and sources
- Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, embedding strong business partnering and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile:
- Significant FP&A and management control experience, ideally gained within hospitality or transportation
- Proven experience operating in a senior finance leadership role within a complex international organisation
- Strong financial modelling, strategic planning, and analytical capabilities
- Advanced data analytics and reporting experience, including Power BI or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, with the credibility to influence executive stakeholders
- Available to interview and start at short notice
