Role Description
The Director of Franchise Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for driving franchise growth by identifying prospective franchise partners, managing the sales pipeline, and leading end-to-end franchise acquisition processes. - Developing and refining franchise strategies
- Conducting market and territory analysis
- Overseeing the creation of franchise marketing materials
- Nurturing relationships with prospective and existing franchisees

The Director will collaborate closely with leadership, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure franchise agreements are aligned with brand standards and commercial goals. The role also includes tracking performance metrics, providing regular reporting, and contributing to the long-term expansion roadmap for Candles & Oud.
Qualifications
- Franchise Sales and Lead Generation skills to identify, engage, and convert prospective franchise partners.
- Experience with Franchising and Franchise Agreements to structure, negotiate, and manage compliant franchise deals.
- Business Planning capabilities to develop market entry plans, financial models, and growth strategies for franchise networks.
- Background in retail, hospitality, or consumer brands, ideally within luxury or beauty sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term partner relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record in multi-unit expansion or international development is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant advanced qualifications are an advantage.
