Director of GRC - Security Governance, Risk & Compliance

Dubai, UAE Based (On Site / Hybrid) - Relocation allowance / relocation assistance

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain an existing Governance, Risk & Compliance function. The Opportunity

As the Director of Information Security GRC, you'll report directly to the VP of Information Security and become a key member of the cybersecurity leadership team. You'll lead the organisation's enterprise-wide Governance, Risk & Compliance strategy, partnering with Executive Leadership, Legal, Internal Audit, Procurement, HR and Technology teams to strengthen cyber resilience and embed security across a large, complex international business.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence business decisions at executive level while driving strategic transformation across multiple countries.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Built or significantly transformed an enterprise Information Security GRC functions
  • Worked within large multinational or global organisations
  • Led Governance, Risk & Compliance programmes across multiple countries
  • Strong executive presence with experience influencing C-Level stakeholders and Boards
  • Deep knowledge of Information Security Governance and Enterprise Risk
  • Experience with
    • ISO 27001
    • NIST / NIST CSF
    • PCI DSS
    • Enterprise Risk Frameworks
    • Security Governance
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Internal & External Audits
    • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
