Looking for a sales leadership role in one of the UK’s fastest-growing environmental markets?

Our client, Wild Capital, are a leading national provider of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) units, nutrient neutrality credits, and environmental offsets, and they’re now investing in a senior commercial hire to lead their expansion into major infrastructure.

With upcoming regulatory changes bringing Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) into scope for BNG, this is a huge, untapped market opportunity, and they need someone who knows how to navigate it commercially and deliver a real ROI.

The Opportunity:

This is a front-foot, revenue-generating role where your ability to open doors, build trust, and close deals will define your success.

  • You’ll lead Wild Capital’s presence across the infrastructure sector, building relationships with Tier 1 contractors, developers, DCO applicants, and their advisors, and converting those into high-value commercial agreements.

If you’ve built a strong network across infrastructure and understand how projects are funded, procured, and delivered, this is your chance to leverage that knowledge in a new, high-growth market.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving business development across NSIPs and major infrastructure (transport, energy, water, utilities)
  • Building and leveraging relationships with Tier 1 contractors, promoters, and advisory firms
  • Leading the negotiation of complex BNG and environmental offset deals
  • Acting as the face of Wild Capital within the infrastructure market
  • Shaping commercial strategy and identifying new routes to market
  • Collaborating with internal technical teams to deliver credible, commercially viable solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
