OneAdvanced is one of the UK’s largest privately owned software businesses, delivering mission-critical SaaS solutions across multiple vertical markets with deep customer embeddedness, high recurring revenues and strong profitability.

Backed by Vista Equity Partners and BC Partners since 2019, the business is operating against a clear value creation agenda focused on scalable growth, operational excellence and long-term enterprise value creation ahead of a future liquidity event.

As the business continues to scale toward becoming a £1bn+ enterprise platform, the quality, clarity and consistency of executive and investor communication becomes increasingly critical.

We are hiring a Director of Investor Relations to help shape how the business is understood internally and externally, translating operational and financial performance into a compelling narrative for investors, lenders, the Board and Executive leadership.

This is a highly visible strategic finance leadership role combining executive reporting, investor communication, performance storytelling, and strategic insight.

Investor Narrative & Strategic Communication

  • Own and continuously evolve the company’s equity and performance narrative aligned to growth, profitability, and strategic priorities
  • Translate complex SaaS and commercial performance metrics into clear, concise, executive-level communication
  • Support the CFO and CEO in investor, lender, and shareholder engagement activities
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all executive and external reporting materials

Executive, Board & Investor Reporting

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality Board reports, investor packs, lender updates, and Executive Committee materials
  • Own quarterly forecasting and reforecasting outputs alongside strategic planning cycles
  • Develop insightful KPI dashboards and performance reporting aligned to investor expectations
  • Drive reporting quality, clarity, and consistency across the organisation

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Finance, Commercial, and Strategy teams to synthesise performance insights and support decision-making
  • Support long-range planning, value creation initiatives, and strategic priorities
  • Benchmark business performance against SaaS peers and market expectations
  • Act as a strategic extension of the CFO office

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
