Director of Learning Science
You've shaped an ambitious academic strategy and accepted ownership of its results. You've led visibly, not from the sidelines. And in learning science, you're not experimenting—you've created something tangible, produced evidence of its effectiveness, and earned credibility to present that work publicly. If this describes your background, 2 Hour Learning seeks its defining academic leader.
2 Hour Learning has developed a model enabling students to learn at twice the pace in only two hours daily. This outcome is powered by AI tutors, mastery-oriented progression, and fundamental breaks from traditional classroom design. The performance is proven. We now need a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school implementations, elevating academic leadership standards, and serving as the public ambassador for a movement rooted in sound learning science.
This role is not theoretical. It is an operational mandate. You will control the academic strategy as it unfolds in practice, establish rigorous standards, diagnose execution shortfalls, and mentor high-performing teams toward measurable outcomes. You will convert our scientific underpinnings into operational rigor and advocate for this model on the global stage.
What You Will Be Doing
- Designing academic frameworks that convert learning science principles into actionable direction for curriculum development, motivation architecture, and application design.
- Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to maintain alignment, accountability, and delivery of results across school teams.
- Analyzing data, conducting interviews, and performing observations to produce academic ecosystem assessments that surface the most impactful obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
- Ensuring strategic alignment via planning processes, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring to sustain focus on learning objectives.
- Serving as the principal representative of 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education, to advance systemic shifts in global education paradigms.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
