Director of Marketing
Reports to Founder - Scott
Individual contributor
Full and fractional roles will be considered.
You can be located in US, Canada, UK, NZ, or Australia
Objective
Drive a significant increase in new customers through marketing efforts.
Candidate qualifications and role description
- Previous experience creating and implementing programs to drive new signups in the 3rd party ecosystem space for Xero and QuickBooks.
- Thorough understanding of the “jobs” CFOs, fractional CFOs, accounting managers, and professional accountants are trying to get done, in the context of financial and adjacent reporting using Xero and QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated success in identifying how the above targets make decisions for products like Scott’s Add-in.
- Demonstrable success creating and implementing marketing programs that generate new subscriptions.
- Development of measurement and tracking to analyze degree of success of each program implemented.
- Monitor, derive insights, and make recommendations to improve trial to paid.
- Demonstrate use of AI to leverage marketing efforts, resulting in efficiency gains.
- Top notch verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently, from a remote location of your choosing.
- Thrive in an environment where independence, accountability, and goal attainment are valued.
- Ability to accept honest and direct feedback on performance.
