Senior Leader, Search & AI-Driven Discovery to Commerce Performance
In a Nutshell…
Our client is looking for a senior leader to define and scale how international brands are discovered, chosen, and transacted across search, AI-driven discovery, and commerce platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of search, e-commerce, media, and emerging AI-driven ecosystems, with accountability for turning discovery into measurable commercial growth at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Own the end-to-end discovery-to-commerce strategy across:
- Organic search
- Paid search
- AI-driven discovery
- Shoppable media
- Drive performance improvement through advanced optimisation, experimentation, and test-and-learn frameworks
- Scale best practice in:
- Feed optimisation
- Content tailored for AI and search environments
- Measurement of incrementality and ROI
- Translate platform and consumer signal into:
- Clear prioritisation
- Investment decisions
- Executional roadmaps
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align teams behind a joined-up discovery and commerce strategy
- Stay ahead of platform and AI innovation, embedding new capabilities into operational strategies
- Ensure discovery activities directly support:
- Conversion
- Revenue growth
- Long-term brand performance

About You…
- Deep expertise in search, digital discovery, and e-commerce ecosystems
- Strong understanding of:
- AI-driven discovery
- Intent modelling
- Platform algorithms
- Proven experience operating at enterprise scale across multiple markets or business units
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment in complex organisations
- Highly analytical, with a focus on commercial outcomes and performance metrics
- Future-facing, curious, and energised by emerging technology and innovation
