Media Activation & Optimisation Director

Drive media performance by combining deep platform expertise with technology, automation, and AI. The Media Activation & Optimisation Director is responsible for maximising how clients activate and optimise media across platforms.

What you’ll be doing

This role combines hands-on expertise in digital media buying with a strong understanding of ad-tech partners such as Innovid and DoubleVerify.

  • Focus on identifying practical ways to improve performance, streamline workflows, and scale best practices across markets.
  • Define and scale buying best practices across major media platforms.
  • Drive adoption of Smart Bidding and platform-native optimisation capabilities.
  • Maximise the value of ad tech partners including Smartly, Innovid, and DoubleVerify.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve activation workflows.
  • Translate platform and technology innovations into scalable solutions for markets and agencies.
  • Partner with agencies to continuously improve activation quality, efficiency, and performance.

What you’ll bring

  • Deep hands-on experience across major digital media platforms
  • Strong understanding of media buying, optimisation, and auction dynamics
  • Experience using ad tech partners such as Smartly, Innovid, and DoubleVerify
  • Curiosity about automation, AI, and emerging activation capabilities e.g. agentic
  • Ability to translate technical platform expertise into practical recommendations
  • Comfortable operating between platforms, agencies, and business stakeholders
