Raffles London at The OWO and The OWO Residences by Raffles operates two flagship venues at the **iconic Old War Office building** on Whitehall:
- A **120-room and suite luxury hotel**
- A collection of **85 exceptional branded residences**
- **12 distinct restaurants and bars**, including a signature restaurants by **Mauro Colagreco**
- **Guerlain Spa** and **Pillar Wellness**

## **Job Description**

An exceptional opportunity exists to join the sales leadership team at **Raffles London** as the **Director of Middle East Sales**.

**Reporting to:** Director of Sales

**Key Objective:** Establish robust relationships with key clients and partners—including embassies, family offices, government offices, bookers, agencies, **Destination Management Companies (DMCs)** and private clients—**both in the UK and overseas**. Position **Raffles London** as **the leading luxury destination** in London for high-end Middle Eastern clientele.

The ideal applicant must demonstrate:
- **Organisational acumen** with an emphasis on efficiency
- **Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills**
- A **minimum of 3 years’ experience** in a similar **luxury sales role**
- An **extensive professional network** spanning the Middle Eastern market

### **Key Responsibilities**

#### **Market Development & Account Management**
- **Penetrate the Middle East market** by positioning **Raffles London** as a top-tier luxury hotel for:
  - Official delegations
  - Business visits
  - Leisure travel
  - Family and extended stays
- Collaborate with **Director of Sales & Marketing** and **Director of Sales** to design and implement a **budget-aligned sales strategy**
- Develop high-end client accounts, maximizing revenue from key relationships

Customer & Client Engagement

  • Attend:
    • Sales missions
    • Networking events
    • Trade show exhibitions
  • Conduct prospecting efforts through:
    • Telephone follow-ups
    • Virtual presentations
    • In-person meetings

Sales Operations & Analytics

  • Monitor competitor activity and track:
    • School holiday schedules
    • State visits
    • Cultural and political events
    • Economic changes
      • Adjust strategies proactively to meet shifting market demands
  • Coordinate Fam trips for Raffles London to highlight hospitality and appeal to key stakeholders including:
    • Middle Eastern clients & opinion leaders
    • Top premium booking agencies
  • Maintain updated sales databases, ensuring accurate records for:
    • Bookings
    • Client enquiries
    • Activity logs

Collaboration & Creativity

  • Partner with Reservations Team to maintain creative, problem-solving approaches to client requests
  • Work alongside Director of Operations on production of high-end VIP welcoming experiences
  • Align with Director of Revenue Strategy to achieve hotel performance goals
  • Generate and execute innovative trade marketing initiatives supported by Director of Communications
  • Develop strategies to stimulate alternative demand channels when core market opportunities shift

Requirements & Culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a golf course-side, luxury hotel or high-end B кор sauანის sales role
  • Thrive in fast-paced, partnership based environments and seeking a role in a leadership capacity
  • Dynamic industry candidate preferred
