Interim Director of Nursing | 6-Month Contract | £500 - £525 per day (Inside IR35)

We're partnering with a rapidly growing independent healthcare provider seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing to provide visible clinical leadership during a pivotal period of transformation. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a complex, multi-service organisation delivering urgent care, primary care, custody healthcare and specialist services across the UK.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and support a national nursing function across multiple service lines.
  • Provide assurance around patient safety, quality, and clinical governance.
  • Work closely with senior operational leaders to stabilise services and drive improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with clinical teams through regular site visits.
  • Help shape the future nursing strategy while delivering immediate operational impact.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Current RGN registration with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Significant senior nursing leadership experience.
  • A track record of improving clinical quality and governance in complex healthcare environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and private healthcare experience.
  • A practical, visible leadership style—someone who enjoys solving problems rather than simply advising.
  • The resilience to operate in a fast-paced, evolving organisation.
