Operations Director | Lean Transformation | Multi-Site
The Opportunity
£100,000 – £115,000 (dependent on experience) + Car Allowance + Bonus UK-wide / Travel

We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Director to guide a fast-growing business through the next phase of its operational evolution. This is a long-term career role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-site operational strategy across the UK
- Drive Lean and operational excellence, implementing measurable improvements
- Build operational discipline, setting KPIs and accountable practices
- Mentor site leaders and embed high-performance standards
- Rotate between strategic work and frontline engagement for high-impact decisions
Successful candidates will own visibility and delivery across multiple locations, fostering a team culture built on accountability and continuous improvement.
About the Role
- Visible leadership: Lead a network of operational service centres, ensuring consistent performance and measurable growth.
- Practical focus: Combine operational oversight with direct coaching of teams, refining processes and engaging with frontline staff.
- Travel-heavy: Regular visits to UK sites are a core expectation.

Key Requirements
- Degree educated with Six Sigma Black Belt ( formarters desired )
- Proven multi-site operational leadership experience
- Track record in budget management, commercial performance, and P&L accountability
- Expertise in Lean operational improvements, KPI implementation, and measurable performance gains
- Demonstrated career progression showing growing responsibility, strong results, and leadership impact
Ideal background:
- Operations, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site service environments
- Experience driving transformation and optimisation in high-demand industries
