We are currently working with a leading engineering consultancy in Cambridge to recruit for a structural engineering leader. The business consists of over 5,000 employees and are expanding due to an incredibly strong pipeline in the Cambridge area.

The successful Operations Director (structural engineering) will have:
- Chartership status through either the ICE or IStructE
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant, UK based experience
- At least 3 years of experience winning and leading on project delivery on traditional building structures - commercial, residential and healthcare
- The ability to keep a hands on approach when delivering projects and leading teams
As the successful Operations Director (structural engineering), you will:
- Attend local events and drinks with various stakeholders
- Have full P&L responsibility for the Cambridge satellite office
- Develop relationships bringing new work to the team and support the delivery of these assignments
- Grow a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on your preferred culture and working environment
- Have support from surrounding offices for project delivery as and when required
- Develop relationships with universities ensuring a healthy pipeline of junior staff members

In return, as the Operations Director (structural engineering):
- £90,000 - £120,000
