Director of Operations

Senior Operations Leadership Opportunity We're looking for a senior operations leader to take ownership of a complex, regulated manufacturing area. This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for performance, people, technical delivery, customer confidence and long-term operational improvement.

The Role Lead a multi-disciplinary manufacturing value stream across operations, technical support, MSAT and project delivery Own performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people Balance day-to-day manufacturing delivery with change, scale-up and improvement activity Provide senior oversight of GxP, EHS, quality, regulatory and customer requirements Lead technology transfer, validation, investigations, change control and process improvement Govern operational, technical, customer and capital projects Partner with quality, engineering, supply chain, finance, HR and commercial teams Act as a senior customer-facing operational and technical representative Build leadership capability, accountability and succession across the team

What We’re Looking For Senior operations leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing Strong background in regulated environments, ideally drug substance, API, sterile, biologics or complex technical manufacturing Confidence leading through change, growth or transformation Strong understanding of GxP, EHS, quality systems and inspection readiness Technical credibility across process robustness, tech transfer, validation and investigations Commercial awareness, including budgets, capacity, resources and customer delivery A visible, practical leader who can make clear decisions and develop high-performing teams
