Job Purpose
To be an expert on creating perfume compositions and deliver high value fragrance creations across target categories, which align with the creative strategic vision led by the Global Director of Perfumery and other Divisions
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Deliver high value creativity supporting global and regional commercial strategy
- Maintain continuous improvement by identifying creative ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects, and submission of highest-quality fragrance samples to clients
- Drive the UK Division Strategy for Perfumery as member of the UK Management Team
- Promote creativity, artistic flair and passion across UK Division
- Provide high value creativity and fragrance creations combined with sound technical knowledge
- Support new CPL technologies with Global Director of Perfumery, Global R&D and PPD teams
- Create winning fragrances for global and regional projects that meet the customer’s brief and odour expectations
- Design fragrances to meet customer and industry regulations and be performant and stable in the end use application
- Work closely with Head Analytical Group to streamline process and leverage learning
- Organise and attend supplier presentations with the target to up-date and strengthen ingredient portfolio for CPL Perfumery
- Be a senior creative leader in customer visits and presentations
- Assist when required in pallet management meetings
- Lead and manage the UK Perfumery team, including setting goals and objectives, developing strategies, mentoring, coaching and team development
- Adhere to CPL values and all industry standards

Qualification
- Must have qualification from a recognised perfumer training institute like ISIPCA or equivalent
Minimum Of 10 Years’ Experience Working As a Perfumer
Superior creativity with sound technical knowledge
Skills And Knowledge
- Capable of creating new themes and to design fragrances around strategic ingredients
- Creativity with sound technical knowledge
- Strong Communicator – ability to explain a creative strategy and creative process
- Team player
- Strong Presentation skills
- Energetic and passionate
- Fluent in English
