Director of Practice – Blenheim Veterinary Centre

Join us as the Director of Practice at our Blenheim Veterinary Centre. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape culture, drive results and support the continued success of a well-established small animal practice.


About Blenheim Veterinary Centre

Our practice is a busy, well-established small animal centre supported by a team of:

  • 6 Veterinary Surgeons
  • 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses
  • 6 Receptionists

With a diverse caseload and expertise across prevention, disease pathways, diagnosis, and treatment, our passion for animals includes dedicated work with Cats Protection to improve feline care.

We serve a loyal, long-standing client base with:

  • Spacious, modern facilities, including five consultation rooms, in-house laboratory, operating theatre, separate kennels, cattery, and isolation wards
  • Advanced on-site diagnostic equipment, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and ultrasound
  • The beautiful market town of Ashbourne, a gateway to the Peak District with excellent transport links to Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester, and Birmingham

How You’ll Make a Difference

As Director of Practice, you will lead the operational, commercial, and people performance of the centre, supporting outstanding sterile patient and client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day operational management and report to the Area Director
  • Oversee people management, financial performance, and local marketing
  • Drive sustainable growth through financial forecasting, operational excellence, and strategic planning
  • Foster a positive, high-performing culture with tailored support for colleagues
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

About You
