Role: Director of Product
Salary: £120k base + EMI Share Scheme + Competitive Benefits Package
Contract type: Full-time. We offer flexible working hours for all employees.
Reporting to: CEO
Location: Bristol (hybrid) We ask all team members to come into the office at least 3 x per quarter. However for this role we’re eager to find someone to have a more frequent presence in the office.


Signable is hiring for a Director of Product to lead our Product function, and play a key role in shaping product strategy, commercial growth, solutions development GTM execution. Signable has just received a multi-million-pound investment from BGF to accelerate our next phase of growth. About the role

Signable is entering an exciting stage of growth. We're a profitable, investment-backed B2B SaaS business of around 65 people, backed by a multi-million-pound investment from BGF and with ambitious plans for the future.

We're looking for a Director of Product who has successfully scaled products, teams and ways of working within a growing SaaS business. You'll inherit an established Product function, including three Product Managers leading dedicated cross-functional squads, supported by strong Engineering, Data and Commercial teams.

You'll be responsible for shaping Signable's product strategy, ensuring our investments align with customer needs, commercial opportunities and long-term business goals. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll help evolve how we set objectives, measure success and translate strategy into measurable business impact.

This role extends beyond traditional product leadership. You'll work across Product, Commercial, Customer Experience, Engineering and Data to develop solutions that solve customer problems, create value and support revenue growth. You'll also play a key role in leading go-to-market activity, ensuring new products, capabilities and innovations are successfully launched, adopted and commercialised.

As we begin introducing AI-powered capabilities into our platform and customer experience, you'll help shape our approach to AI innovation, adoption and governance. We're also focused on becoming a deeper part of our customers' workflows through integrations, APIs and embedded experiences, making experience with workflow-oriented SaaS products particularly valuable.


What you'll be responsible for

Product strategy and growth

  • Own Signable's product vision and long-term strategy and ensure the collective buy-in of the SLT and Product&Engineering teams.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs and competitive threats and ensure we have a strategy to appropriately mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Ensure product investments support revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention and expansion, with clearly defined targets and accurate measurement.

Solutions & Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Develop and lead go-to-market strategies for new products, features and AI-powered capabilities, including maintaining ICP and persona information.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful market adoption.
  • Help define Signable's solution strategy, identifying opportunities to solve customer problems through products, integrations, partnerships and AI-enabled experiences.
  • Support decisions around pricing, packaging, positioning and market segmentation in close collaboration with commercial and finance teams using a value based approach.

Product leadership and operating excellence

  • Lead, mentor and develop a talented team of 5 including Product Managers and Product Design.
  • Continue evolving Signable's product operating model as the company grows including the effective use of KPIs and dashboards.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Engineering (team of 20+) to maintain operational excellence across the product development lifecycle and ensure accountability for timely delivery.
  • Create an environment where product managers can succeed through support and challenge, encourage creative thinking and outcome tracking, drive a winning and learning mentality.

Product performance and business impact

  • Ensure product initiatives are clearly connected to company goals and growth targets and all activity is linked to initiatives. Ensure effective discovery processes to define product opportunities and mindset of delivering effective MVPs.
  • Develop reporting approaches that provide visibility of progress, outcomes and business impact for leadership and investors.
  • Promote outcome-focused decision-making through customer insights, experimentation, and data.

AI and innovation

  • Guide the successful introduction of AI capabilities into our product portfolio including defining the use case and value proposition.
  • Support decisions around AI pricing, packaging, governance and customer adoption.
  • Help identify opportunities to use AI responsibly and effectively across customer and business experiences.

Our ideal candidate

You'll likely have:

  • Previous experience as a Head of Product, Product Director or equivalent product leadership role.
  • Experience leading Product through a significant growth phase in a B2B SaaS business, ideally between roughly 50 and 100 employees.
  • Experience operating in an investor-backed or high-growth environment where progress against strategic goals must be measured and communicated clearly.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of SaaS growth drivers.
  • Experience developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Customer Experience teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Experience developing high-performing Product Managers and product organisations.
  • The ability to think beyond individual features and products, taking a solutions-led approach to customer and business challenges.

Interview Process:

  1. 1st Stage Interviews held with CEO, CFO & Head of Product
  2. 2nd Stage will be a 1 hour Leadership Report & Assessment conducted by Stratton HR
  3. Take Home Paid Project
  4. 3rd & Final Stage with CEO, Head of Engineering & Lead Product Manager (subject to change/availability)
