Position: Director of Progressive EducationReports To: Head of School Classification: Exempt The School in Rose Valley is seeking a warm, collaborative, and visionary educational leader to join our close-knit community as Director of Progressive Education. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to guide and strengthen a mission-driven academic program where students learn through hands-on experiences, meaningful exploration, and authentic engagement. Working closely with the Head of School, faculty, and program leaders, the Director of Progressive Education will help ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning experience that supports the growth of the whole child. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a cohesive, mission-aligned academic program across the school Foster progressive, inquiry-based, and student-centered teaching practices Supervise, coach, and support faculty growth and development Partner with school leadership on hiring, evaluation, and academic planning Promote inclusive curriculum and meaningful learning experiences for all students Support a collaborative, reflective, and caring professional culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred 5–10 years of relevant educational and leadership experience Experience in progressive and/or independent schools strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment Why Join Rose Valley?
