Location: Charnwood Campus, Loughborough, United Kingdom
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours.

The Opportunity
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Almac Pharma Services manufacture and pack commercial drug products and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for a wide range of global pharmaceutical companies.
The expert services we provide supports the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world. We’re currently seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to lead the Quality Assurance department at the Charnwood Campus, Loughborough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Quality Assurance (QA) department at the Almac Pharma Services Charnwood site. They will be responsible for the management of a dedicated team of Quality professionals to effectively meet the needs of the business and ensure compliance with Regulatory guidelines and the Almac Pharma Services Global Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS).

The post holder will be the most senior Quality person on the site and as such will act as the primary point of contact, representing the Charnwood Quality unit to the Regulatory Authorities.
The post holder will be a key part of the Site Leadership Team and will work closely with the other Directors at site to effectively manage the operations at the Charnwood site.
What We Are Looking For
Degree level qualification in a science related discipline. Previous experience acting as a QP Significant experience working in a quality management role and as a QP within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in leading multi-functional teams. Experience in the quality considerations for manufacturing operations for solid oral dosage forms and/or non-sterile liquids across development, clinical and commercial operations. Experience in managing the interactions with the regulatory authorities.
