Director of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk EMEA Sign up to join Aon’s Risk Capital Analytics team and play a meaningful role in crafting the future of our Commercial Risk Broking and Consulting offerings. Help brokers and account executives engage clients and support them in meeting their goals through analytically empowered client experiences. What the day will look like/About this role You will report to the Head of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk EMEA, and work closely with the commercial risk placement teams and EMEA Account Executive teams. You will also engage with various partners. Your goal is to transform how we support clients by embedding advanced analytics into our broking product. This execution focused position will flex from the most mundane to the most exciting so it will be important that the colleague in this role is motivated by the vision, and able to execute on the tactical elements as required. You will collaborate with Senior Directors in the Central team and Sub-regional analytics leaders. Together, you will enhance the risk analytics capabilities of Aon across EMEA. Furthermore, you collaborate with the Risk Analytics Product teams to both understand and communicate the nuances of our differentiation and distinctive value proposition across our analytical capabilities, and help drive the continued development of Aon’s market leading Risk Analytics tools and platforms. You will work closely with our Broker teams to identify new training opportunities for analyzer tools. You will deliver training that is engaging, relevant, and effective. You will participate in a variety of projects that shape the Risk Analytics strategy at Aon and affect our Commercial Risk proposition. Your role involves technical instructing, message training, engaging with clients, supporting oral presentations, and aiding written RFP responses. Hence we are looking for a top communicator, comfortable talking both internally and with clients about sophisticated analytical insights. You are native or highly professional in English, with proficiency in other languages seen as a big plus. On a regular basis, you will also support marketing activities and campaigns, major events, and colleague and client facing symposia all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in Analytics. You bring a technical background preferably a master’s degree in business/science or comparable and a minimum of 5 years working experience in the re/insurance industry, preferably with broking or risk analytics background. Conversant in insurance and risk topics, specifically understanding the underpinnings of insurance, risk quantification, and risk finance decision making. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, European language other than English a plus Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage optimally with various stakeholders at various levels of knowledge. Excellent project management, organizational and time-management skills, with a capability to work flexibly across different time zones. Excellent sales and marketing skills and brining a pronounced can do attitude to every-day challenges. Motivated to contribute to build the strategic direction of driving sophisticated analytical capabilities in Europe and execute in parallel. A self-starter, able to manage high workload and comfortable operating at the intersection of being a learner and a teacher at once.
