You will inspire and develop a high-performing sales team while shaping strategies through the hotels key segments that deliver exceptional results and reflect The Caley Way.
The Person
A dynamic commercial leader with strong experience in hospitality sales Confident communicator with excellent presentation, relationship-building and negotiation skills Analytical, strategic and motivated by target-driven performance A collaborative team builder who can coach, mentor and elevate sales talent Knowledgeable about the luxury Consortia & Incentive travel market, competitor landscape and local Edinburgh market Highly organised, resilient under pressure and able to adapt quickly to market changes Willing and able to travel internationally to represent the hotel

The Role
Lead the hotel’s proactive sales strategy across all market segments Partner with Senior Management, Commercial Director and Revenue teams to deliver aligned commercial performance Drive new business development through targeted prospecting, market analysis and local & global representation Manage existing key Luxury Leisure Platforms, direct Corporate relationships whilst introducing and targeting new opportunities and accounts within these segments. Develop, coach and grow the Sales Team through leadership, mentoring and continuous performance development Represent The Caledonian Edinburgh at international and domestic tradeshows, events and client engagements Support preparation and execution of the Sales & Marketing Plans and commercial reporting
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute sales plans that support business objectives and revenue targets Analyse market trends, competitor activity and performance indicators to identify business opportunities Build and strengthen key client, partner and Hilton Worldwide Sales relationships Deliver compelling site visits, familiarisation trips and sales presentations Produce accurate reports, forecasts, budget contributions and performance updates Collaborate cross-functionally with hotel departments to support guest experience and convert business Monitor rates, offers and group discounts in alignment with Revenue Management
