Title Director of Sales, EMEA North Reporting Line Director of Sales, Emea North will report to the Global Director of Sales & Sales Operations Location Based in Nothern Europe The Context Over its 40 years of existence, L-Acoustics has emerged as the market leader in the pro audio technology industry. With yearly growth rates in the double digits, the company has been undergoing a deep transformation to adapt to the requirements of a mushrooming and global business. In this context, the EMEA region has been, and remains, a major growth vector for L-Acoustics underlining the strategic and operational importance of the EMEA region within the organization. General Overview L-Acoustics is seeking a Director of Sales, EMEA North to accelerate our market expansion and reinforce our leadership across the region. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our commercial strategy, with a strong emphasis on capturing new business opportunities, deepening partnerships with key stakeholders, and driving sustainable revenue growth within the professional audio sector. A priority focus for this position will be to advance our footprint in installation markets, developing both existing accounts and new installation business through a structured, long‑term approach. The ideal candidate will bring a deep strategic understanding of the European AV integration landscape, a demonstrated track record in complex sales environments, and the ability to design and implement market‑specific strategic sales plans that support our broader regional and global objectives. Responsibilities More precisely the Director of Sales & BD, EMEA North will Lead Regional Sales Strategy & Market Development Responsibilities Lead the regional sales growth strategy aligned with global business objectives. Collaborate closely with the Sales Director overseeing the rental market in the EMEA North to ensure strategic alignment, strengthen cross segment consistency, and maximize regional commercial impact. Analyze market opportunities within the Installation market. Design optimal routes to achieve sustainable and profitable regional growth. Develop field sales action plans to drive Installation market penetration. Develop strategies to strengthen regional market share. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and accelerate opportunities across territories. Expected Impacts: Improved revenue predictability and strengthened long-term regional penetration. Year over year Installation market share growth. Drive Sales Forecasting & Performance Management Responsibilities: Define regional and vertical sales objectives for Sales Managers and regional BD teams. Lead, train, and coach the Regional Sales Team to achieve targets. Foster a high-performance, positive sales culture. Monitor performance, identify improvement levers, and drive operational efficiency. Provide hands-on leadership to ensure sales goals are met. Organize and lead sales meetings with Regional Sales Managers. Implement and manage sales policies and procedures. Ensure accurate opportunity tracking in the CRM. Deliver monthly performance reports and forecasts to the business committee. Expected Impacts: Increased sales target attainment and improved team performance consistency. Higher quarterly forecast accuracy and reduced sales variance. Build Analytical Tools & Decision-making Frameworks Responsibilities: Partner with IT to process data and convert it into actionable insights. Collaborate with senior global sales leadership on structure, budget, vision, and department goals. Expected Impacts: Enhanced decision making quality and faster identification of growth levers. More reliable and data‑driven sales planning. Grow Business Development Channels Responsibilities Work with Global Business Development leadership on defining regional BD targets and focus areas for the regional BD teams. Strengthen L-Acoustics’ market positioning through new business development paths. Open new pipelines, adopt new selling methods, and explore new verticals within the Installation market. Identify, develop, and manage strategic alliances and partnerships. Expected Impacts: Expanded and diversified revenue streams. Reduced dependency on mature or saturated market segments. Increased contribution from new verticals and partnerships. Build and Maintain Key Relationships Responsibilities Act as a senior ambassador for L-Acoustics’ values, brand, and culture. Deepen industry knowledge by attending key events and conferences. Support Sales Managers in developing key and new partnerships. Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account success. Expected Impacts: Higher customer satisfaction and improved long‑term retention. Stronger strategic relationships driving repeat business and partnership opportunities. Cross Functional Collaboration Responsibilities Work closely with Application, Product Marketing, and other teams to support business growth. Build strong internal relationships and foster peer collaboration. Partner with Product Marketing on product launches. Collaborate with Application teams on project execution and monitoring. Expected Impacts: Faster, higher quality execution of commercial initiatives and product launches. Improved project delivery and customer experience through better cross team coordination. Experience, skills & educational background Master’s degree in business management or equivalent. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Sales and Business Development leadership roles, ideally in an international matrix organization. Experience within a technology driven company, ideally in a BtoB environment. Deep expertise across integration partners in AV industry in Northern Europe Proven expertise in developing effective strategies in close collaboration with global functional leadership, showcasing a demonstrated capability to create strategic plans and translate them into tangible and impactful outcomes. Background in a company with premium market positioning is a plus. Personality Decision maker, strategic thinker with a hands-on modus operandi. Doer mentality, impactful.
