Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is located in the prestigious Marylebone area of London’s West End, overlooking the gardens of Portman Square and just moments from Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Inspired by the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel reflects a sense of British heritage and timeless style.
The hotel features 440 elegant guestrooms including 50 suites, along with 11 versatile meeting and event spaces hosting a wide range of corporate events and social occasions. Dining experiences include seasonal British dishes and Afternoon Tea at The Montagu Kitchen and cocktails at the stylish Churchill Bar & Terrace.

The Role
As Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, you will provide strategic sales leadership for one of Hyatt’s most distinguished London hotels. Reporting to the Director of Area Sales - UK, who is also based at The Churchill, this senior commercial role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening market share and supporting the hotel’s continued success in a competitive luxury hospitality market.
Working closely with the General Manager, hotel leadership team and wider commercial colleagues, you will shape and deliver a focused sales strategy aligned to the hotel’s business objectives. You will bring market insight, commercial discipline and strong leadership to ensure activity is purposeful, collaborative and results driven.
You will lead, develop and inspire a sales team of 3, building a high performance culture based on accountability, care and commercial focus. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced sales professional who can influence across the business and deliver sustainable performance through people, relationships and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic sales leadership for Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill
- Develop and execute the hotel’s sales strategy in line with business priorities, market conditions and financial targets
- Drive revenue growth, market share and profitability through focused sales planning and disciplined execution
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team, ensuring strong capability, engagement and succession planning
- Partner closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance and Operations to deliver an integrated commercial approach
- Act as a senior commercial advisor to the hotel leadership team, providing insight and direction on sales performance and market opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that support the hotel’s long term commercial success
- Identify new business opportunities and ensure effective conversion into profitable revenue
- Guide the team on market intelligence, competitor activity, client trends and changing demand patterns
- Lead sales planning, business reviews and performance discussions, ensuring clear accountability for delivery
- Work closely with Revenue Management to align sales activity with pricing strategy, demand periods and market positioning
- Represent the hotel in senior client meetings, commercial reviews, networking opportunities and Hyatt forums as required
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning, ensuring sales strategies are aligned to financial objectives
- Champion Hyatt’s sales tools, processes and brand standards, ensuring consistent adoption and effective execution

About You
You are a commercially astute sales leader with strong experience in hotel sales, ideally within a premium, luxury or complex hospitality environment. Experience in the London market is highly beneficial.
You are confident operating at senior leadership level, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build trusted relationships and translate market insight into clear commercial action.
Your leadership style is collaborative, credible and people focused. You bring strong communication skills, a track record of developing high performing teams and a genuine passion for hospitality, commercial excellence and helping others be their best.
