Job Overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity to drive manufacturing test operations for next-generation semiconductor products across high-performance segments including Cloud, Infrastructure, and Automotive.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead the definition and execution of test strategy for complex, high-performance SoCs while remaining highly hands-on with Advantest V93K (93K EXA Scale) platforms and SmarTest (SMT7/SMT8) environments.
A key aspect of this role is end-to-end ownership of manufacturing test, including lab bring-up and infrastructure development from scratch, enabling characterization and production readiness. You will work closely with OSAT partners to ensure smooth production ramp, yield optimization, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead ATE strategy across bring-up, characterization, qualification, and production
- Provide leadership on Advantest V93K (EXA Scale) platforms
- Drive best practices in DFT, yield optimization, and production scalability
Hands-On ATE Development
- ATE test program development using SmarTest (SMT7/SMT8)
- Test method development (Scan/ATPG, MBIST, HSIO, Functional)
- Test flow and binning strategy development
- Silicon bring-up, characterization, debug, and yield analysis
Lab & Infrastructure Development
- Build test labs from scratch (93K testers, probe/loadboards, thermal systems)
- Develop automation and data infrastructure
- Define lab processes and workflows
OSAT & Production Engagement

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
