🚀 Technology Director | Birmingham City Centre | Up to £120,000 + Exceptional Package
Are you a hands-on technology leader who enjoys building as much as leading?
A successful £500m global investment business is looking for a Technology Director to shape its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a team of 10 Software Engineers while driving technology strategy across a high-value ecommerce platform, internal systems, infrastructure, AI and automation.

The role:
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 10 Software Engineers
- Own the technology roadmap and engineering strategy
- Drive architecture, scalability, security and platform performance
- Oversee self-hosted infrastructure and Python/Django applications
- Champion AI and automation initiatives with significant investment behind them
- Partner closely with the CEO and Finance & Operations Director to deliver technology that drives business growth
We're looking for an experienced technology leader with strong Python/Django expertise, a background in ecommerce or complex digital platforms, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with technical credibility.

📍 Location: Birmingham City Centre (minimum four days per week in the office)
