About the Position

Floorplan/Wholesale Finance industry expert to drive market expansion, strategic business development, and go-to-market execution across EMEA and expanding to broader Auto Finance section.

This highly visible role will act as the bridge between market intelligence, sales, product strategy, and customer engagement, helping Solifi strengthen its position within wholesale finance while also identifying opportunities to expand adoption of the wider Solifi portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the EMEA wholesale finance landscape.
  • Research, analyse and communicate market trends, regulatory developments, customer challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity, product positioning, pricing strategies, and market movements. Identify competitive strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform Solifi's strategy.
  • Produce actionable market intelligence and recommendations for Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Leadership teams.
  • Support strategic planning through market segmentation, whitespace analysis, and growth opportunity assessments.

Target Market & Account Strategy

  • Define and refine Solifi's ideal customer profiles across wholesale finance and adjacent sectors.
  • Identify, prioritise and maintain target account lists based on market potential, strategic fit, and likelihood to buy.
  • Develop account targeting and market penetration strategies in partnership with Sales leadership.
  • Support territory planning and drive focused pursuit of high-value opportunities.
  • Build account intelligence and stakeholder mapping for strategic prospects.

Business Development & Industry Engagement

  • Leverage an extensive industry network to identify and qualify new prospects, influencers, partners and opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across lenders, finance providers, manufacturers, dealers, brokers and industry associations.
  • Represent Solifi at industry conferences, events, webinars and customer forums.
  • Act as a market ambassador and thought leader for Solifi within the wholesale finance community.
  • Create opportunities for executive engagement and strategic customer introductions.

Sales Enablement & Opportunity Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales organisation throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Support strategic customer engagements, discovery sessions, workshops, presentations and executive-level conversations.
  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to individual market segments and customer needs.
  • Create competitive positioning, sales playbooks, industry messaging and objection-handling guidance.
  • Train and enable Sales, Pre-Sales and Customer Success teams on market trends, customer challenges and competitive differentiation.
  • Assist in the development of targeted campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.

Product & Portfolio Advisory

  • Provide market-driven input into Solifi's product strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Identify customer requirements, capability gaps and emerging industry needs.
  • Act as the voice of the market, ensuring customer feedback informs future innovation.
  • Support positioning and expansion of not only Solifi's Wholesale solutions but also the broader Solifi portfolio where opportunities exist.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to ensure solutions remain competitive and aligned with market demand.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Competitive Execution

  • Help define and execute Solifi's wholesale growth strategy across EMEA.
  • Develop competitive displacement strategies targeting incumbent providers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to shape campaigns, content, thought leadership and market awareness initiatives.
  • Support launch planning for new products, capabilities and market segments.
  • Track market performance and recommend adjustments to strategy based on market response and competitive activity.

About You

  • Significant experience within wholesale finance, asset finance, commercial lending, automotive finance, inventory finance, or adjacent financial services sectors.
  • Deep understanding of wholesale lending operations, processes, customer needs, and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, market development, consulting, solution sales, or industry leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive landscape within wholesale finance technology and lending platforms.
  • Established network of industry contacts across lenders, manufacturers, dealers, brokers, technology providers and industry bodies.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively across sales, product, marketing and leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
