Director of Supply Chain

Location: Billingham, UK

About the role

We’re seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for our site. You will own S&OP/IBP governance, integrate demand, supply, capacity, and inventory plans, and drive outstanding service, cost, and cash outcomes. You’ll lead a high-performing team, champion data governance and analytics (SAP, Tableau/Power BI), and align site operations with global S&OP and business objectives—all while maintaining cGMP and data integrity standards.

What you’ll do

  • Lead site S&OP/IBP: run monthly/weekly cycles, reconcile demand and supply, lead executive reviews, and align plans to business objectives and constraints.
  • Oversee supply planning and scheduling: ensure high-quality MRP/finite scheduling, remove constraints, and deliver plan adherence and OTIF.
  • Govern processes, systems, and data: establish planning SOPs and data standards; ensure validated and accurate data in SAP HANA (PP/MM; EWM desirable); sponsor analytics and system enhancements.
  • Drive performance management: define/report KPIs (OTIF, plan adherence, capacity utilization, inventory accuracy/expiry, exception closure) and lead corrective actions.
  • Manage risk and compliance: identify/mitigate internal and external supply risks; ensure cGMP/GDP and ALCOA+ data integrity; maintain audit readiness.
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation: deliver multi-quarter CI programs, parameter optimization, digital tools/automation, and process simplification.
  • Build and lead the team: hire, develop, coach, and performance-manage 4–8 direct reports; build succession and cross-training depth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
