Director, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and experienced professionals to join our Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) team as a Director, with a focus on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies.

You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in the design and delivery of PRO and preference elicitation research.
  • Drive innovation in preference elicitation methodologies and PRO development.
  • Shape evidence generation strategies to support HTA (Health Technology Assessment) submissions and payer negotiations.
  • Mentor and develop a team of professionals, fostering expertise in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
  • Build and manage client relationships, contributing to business development via proposal preparation and thought leadership activities.
  • Collaborate with other HEOR functions (e.g., health economic modelling, real-world evidence) to deliver integrated solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–8 years of experience, with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing and conducting:
    • Qualitative research
    • Quantitative research
    • Studies for PRO and preference elicitation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Utility measurement techniques
    • Survey development
    • Psychometric validation
  • Strong statistical analysis and econometrics skill.
  • Publication experience in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships effectively.
