Renowned for delivering high-quality Cost Management and Quantity Surveying services across a diverse portfolio of projects, they have built a reputation for technical excellence, long-standing client relationships, and developing industry-leading talent.
As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director-level Quantity Surveyor to play a key leadership role within their Scotland business.
Your new role
As Associate Director / Director, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of professional Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services across a varied range of projects and sectors.
You will manage key client relationships, support business development activities, provide strategic cost advice, and lead project teams to ensure successful project outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to influence the growth of the regional business while mentoring and developing junior and senior surveyors within the team.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services.
- Managing and developing key client accounts.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Providing strategic commercial and cost advice on major projects.
- Leading, mentoring and developing project teams.
- Supporting the wider leadership team in achieving business growth objectives.
- Contributing to the overall operational and financial performance of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Chartered status (MRICS) or significant equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive consultancy-side Quantity Surveying experience.
- Proven experience operating at Associate Director, Director, or senior leadership level.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable business development and work-winning experience.
- Excellent commercial awareness and leadership capabilities.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
