Director, Regulatory Solutions Business Analyst
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Regulatory Solutions Business Analyst based in London
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the delivery of Regulatory Solutions across financial institutions. You will use your subject matter expertise in global regulation as a key contact for internal stakeholders including data operations, product and technology teams. This is a client facing role including supporting new opportunities and onboarding. You will also use client feedback and engagement to develop product enhancements.
We’ll Count on You To:
- Work closely with Business Strategists to interpret global regulations relevant for Regulatory Solutions across banking, insurance and non-bank financial institution sectors
- Develop detailed business requirements and templates for product development including data sourcing, extraction and calculation rules
- Deliver product enhancements including to support regulatory changes
- Support product testing and create controls to maintain high levels of data quality for regulatory use cases
- Conduct analysis on existing products including new coverage opportunities
- Support client meetings including coverage checks, onboarding and other opportunities to engage and gather feedback
- Maintain updated client documentation and internal documentation
What You Need to Have:
- Deep understanding of global regulations across banking, insurance and non-bank financial institution sectors
- Experience interpreting specific regulations across jurisdictions and ability to build clear logic to be implemented by data operations, product and technology teams
- Strong data skills and experience sourcing and extracting data from different types of regulatory reporting and financial accounting disclosures
- Ability to analyze regulatory and financial disclosures in order to develop standardized rules
- Excellent project management skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and deliver to high standards
- Good understanding of data governance and able to develop controls and conduct testing to ensure robust data quality for regulatory use cases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
