Director Sales UK (f/m/d)
Director Sales (w/m/d) – UK Market
Backing our growth in the UK!
We are seeking a highly accomplished sales professional to join cflox as Director, Sales (UK)—a pivotal role focused on driving client relationships, business origination, and deal execution for UK-based cross-over and investment-grade large corporates.
Your role will position you at the forefront of shaping cflox’s UK strategy, while fostering key client partnerships and realising new-to-bank opportunities in close collaboration with our Partner Management team.
Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion:
- Expanding cflox’s footprint in the UK in partnership with the wider team.

Client Acquisition:
- Identifying and securing new clients.
- Cultivating existing contacts and expanding the commercial network.

Strategic Selling & Engagement:
- Engaging C-Level executives (e.g., Heads of Finance/Treasury) through:
- Market/company analysis.
- Value-based, visionary positioning.
- Tailored proof-of-concept (POC) references and analyst data.

End-to-End Sales Execution:
- Manage the complete sales cycle: discovery, value positioning, presentations, negotiations, and contract closure.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Client Integration, Marketing, Operations, and external partners to ensure customer success.

Brand Representation:
- Act as an ambassador of cflox at UK and international trade fairs, conferences, and client events.

- Deep knowledge of corporate banking product offerings (e.g., trade finance, financing strategies).

- Altofficial record of successfully onboarding large corporates in high-value segments.
- High-performing track record in startup-to-deal execution, with a focus on profit potential.

- Mastery of persuasive communications across all organisational levels (from junior staff to CEOs).
- Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.

Internal Collaboration:
- Ability to build strong partnerships with Hamburg HQ teams (sales, product, operations).

- Sharp presentation skills and a talent for elevating brand perception in professional settings.

Linguistic Proficiency:
- Fluent English is essential.
- German proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Degree in economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Time-tested expertise in corporate banking, trade finance, and cash-flow optimisation.
