Director Senior Commercial Markets Agriculture

Senior Agricultural Relationship Manager

What will you do?

  • Manage a portfolio of large agricultural clients, overseeing the overall relationship strategy within their RBC relationship team
  • Deliver proactive and customized business and financial advice, demonstrating a deep understanding of clients’ business and industry
  • Grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships, collaborating with the client relationship team to bring the full breadth of RBC to businesses, business owners, and employees
  • Partner with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, showcasing strong credit acumen, risk mitigation, and portfolio oversight
  • Foster internal and external strategic partnerships, including centres of influence (COIs), to meet business goals while focusing on target market clients
  • Enable clients to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their businesses

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have

  • University degree, in Agriculture with strong financial analysis skills
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ commercial banking experience, specialized in Agriculture
  • Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Deep knowledge of banking products and services, including industry-specific expertise
  • Experience with emerging technology (e.g., video conferencing, social media, digital banking, mobile applications)
