The Team
Join Alvarez & Marsal’s dynamic Global Transaction Advisory team. Our award-winning practice spans 1,000+ professionals across 40+ offices globally. Serving premium clients across diverse sectors, our team leads the industry in financial due diligence and counselling on innovative career paths. We empower investors and lenders by delivering critical insights to finalise deals.
Focused on identifying key deal drivers and addressing root causes, our integrated global teams are the largest Transaction Advisory practice outside the Big Four.
How You Will Contribute
We seek an experienced Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) professional at Director or Senior Director level to lead our EMEA region. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial due diligence expertise with the ability to navigate a dynamic global environment.

- EMEA-specific consultancy on quality and risk processes.
- Collaboration with the Global Chief Risk Officer to drive consistency and efficiency across the Global Transaction Advisory practice.
- A proactive, collaborative approach ensuring autonomy and stakeholder engagement.
- Supporting your team in resource mobilisation to achieve optimal outcomes.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, delivering quality standards, and scaling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial due diligence for EMEA-based clients, following industry best practices.
- Develop and implement Q&RM-focused training initiatives for teams.
- Create and deploy standardised Q&RM policies and tools.
- Perform process redesigns to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Ensure practice integration and onboarding for new initiatives.
- Lead client-facing engagements in regions aligned with cross-border due diligence and Q&A reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven Big Four financial due diligence experience (preferably serving EMEA clients).
- Cross-border experience with multilingual capability (preferred).
- Hold a professional certification such as ACA / ACCA (preferred).
- Contract and policy consulting experience for Q&A reviews.
- Strong training and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- Past contributions to Q&RM tool development and deployment.
- Experience with process redesign and implementing best practices.
