The Team

Join Alvarez & Marsal’s dynamic Global Transaction Advisory team, an award-winning practice with over 1,000 professionals across 40 offices in the United States, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific. Serving premium clients across diverse sectors, our Transaction Advisory team has solidified A&M’s position as a leading provider of financial due diligence globally and as the firm to develop a fulfilling career in this field.

A&M helps investors and lenders by delivering the insights needed to get the deal done. We combine our firm’s deep operational, industry, and functional expertise with financial accounting and tax insights to assess key deal drivers and resolve critical deal issues at the root.

As the largest Transaction Advisory practice outside the Big Four, our global integrated teams assist private equity and corporate acquirers in unlocking value throughout the investment lifecycle.

How You Will Contribute

We seek an experienced Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) professional at Director or Senior Director level, with a focus on the EMEA region, to drive consistency and streamline processes across Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory practice.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead EMEA-specific consultations
  • Partner closely with the Global Chief Risk Officer to drive global alignment and operational efficiency
  • Combine regional and global impact with hands-on, dynamic stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Proven financial due diligence expertise in a highly collaborative,results-driven environment.
  • Operate independently and responsibly while driving outcomes through effective stakeholder management.
  • Develop and deploy Q&RM-focused learning, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and quality standards across the business.
  • Support practice integration and onboarding for new client engagements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong background in financial due diligence, ideally from a Big Four firm context as an EMEA-based client-facing professional.
  • Cross-border experience (preferably multilingual).
  • Hold a professional certification (e.g., ACA / ACCA preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Consulting on contract and policy matters.
    • Conducting quality reviews.
    • Developing Q&RM-specific tools and process redesign.
    • Managing practice integration/onboarding.
