Join Alvarez & Marsal’s dynamic Global Transaction Advisory Group (Transaction Advisory). Our award-winning practice comprises over 1,000 professionals across 40 offices—spanning the United States, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific.
Our team sits at the heart of premium negotiating sessions, delivering actionable results for clients across diverse sectors. Established as a leading provider of financial due diligence and preferred environment for those pursuing a fulfilling career in Transaction Advisory, our approach certifies potential deals by widening perspectives and uncovering inefficiencies. As the largest Transaction Advisory practice outside the Big Four, our globally integrated teams encourage private equity and corporate entrants to destock value proactively, from initial acquisition to strategic optimisation.
A&M provides clients with integral answers to fine-tune their deal execution. We unify industry operational insight, crucial tax, and accounting expertise to uncover root causes behind deal concerns, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment—focusing on what’s essential to getting the deal done.
How You Will Contribute
We are searching for an experienced Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) professional at Director or Senior Director level to further enhance the EMEA arm of our firm’s Global Transaction Advisory Group.
The successful candidate must display:
- Crucial expertise in financial due diligence
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic consultative environment
- Regional influence, particularly within the EMEA sphere alongside global strategy alignment with our Chief Risk Officer

Your role bridges EMEA consultation leadership with driving a consistent, streamlined strategy across our practice. As such, we rely on professionals who:
- Embrace initiative
- Collaborate effortlessly across internal and external stakeholders
- Mobilise resources autonomously to achieve definitive milestones
Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- Performing EMEA-based client-focused due diligence within a framework earned from Big Four precedence
- Handling cross-border engagements, ideally multilingual support
- Quality reviews and cross functional policy discussions addressing standards and compliance
- Designing and deploying Q&RM-focused training initiatives
- Developing Q&RM-specific tools or methodologies to refine and reinforce practices.
By integrating best-in-industry frameworks with operational accountability, you will:
- Ensure method adherence and fiscal viability
- Introduce process redesign and practice onboarding
- Enable functional benchmarking to optimise transactional outcomes
Qualifications
Proficiency Specialist Required
- Contemporary involvement with financial due diligence initiatives at Director-level in the Global Transaction Advisory-Global Client Solutions context
- Big Four-style remuneration model exposure (with liabilities towards adaptability)
- Experience within cross-continent or multi-regional consultative frameworks
Qualitative Essentials
- CCA (Chartered Certified Accountant) / ACCA (Associate of the Chartered Certified Accountancy) accreditation preferred but not exhaustive
- Multilingual proficiency significantly enriched by prior cross-border consultative contributions
