Director – Technology Transformation

Director – Technology Transformation (Strategic Advisory & Performance)

£180,000 – £240,000 + Bonus | London (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Director – Technology Transformation to lead large-scale, sophisticated transformation programmes across strategic and operational technology domains. This global advisory role demands a mix of technical authority, business acumen, and executive presence, ideally across sectors such as Retail, Consumer, TMT, or Financial Services (preferably Retail/FS).

About the Role

You will maximise the strategic and financial value of technology investments at client organisations, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and operational execution for sustained performance improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client transformation programmes, from initial strategy development to successful delivery and change implementation.
  • Provide expert advisory services to clients on technology strategy, operating models, enterprise architecture, and cost optimisation.
  • Support mission-critical initiatives, including:
    • Programme recovery and turnaround
    • M&A (carve-outs and integration)
    • Strategic vendor management and negotiations
  • Influence C-suite stakeholders and drive business development by demonstrating measurable impact.
  • Lead and mentor consulting teams, while fostering internal best practices and knowledge-sharing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
