  • Member of the EMEA operational leadership team — contributes to cross-functional strategy
  • Senior point of contact for complex, escalated, or strategically significant payroll matters
  • Directly manages the Payroll Leadership team

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and performance-manage at all levels; build succession depth
  • Set clear performance expectations tied to service quality and client outcomes
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Lead the function through periods of change with minimal service disruption

UK Payroll Compliance & Regulatory Governance

  • Maintain Fourth’s UK payroll compliance framework: PAYE, RTI, NI, statutory payments, auto-enrolment
  • Oversee all year-end activities: P60s, P45s, P11Ds, Apprenticeship Levy
  • Manage auto-enrolment compliance across all client groups, including The Pensions Regulator obligations
  • Proactively monitor the regulatory landscape (HMRC policy, Employment Rights Act) and translate change into operational action
  • Maintain strong internal controls: segregation of duties, audit trails, error detection

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
