Operational Management Support Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide efficient and effective operational management support for one of the Medicine Directorates covering Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Hematology, and Palliative Care services. Working closely with the Clinical Leads and Matron, you will ensure that services are responsive, innovative, and provided to the highest possible standard. You will also be responsible for the delivery of key service improvement projects, as well as ensuring access targets are met for your directorate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational management support for the Medicine Directorates.
  • Work closely with Clinical Leads and Matron to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure services are responsive, innovative, and meet the highest standards.
  • Deliver key service improvement projects.
  • Ensure access targets are met for the directorate.

Requirements

  • Operational management experience within the NHS.
  • Proven track record of contributing to the attainment of national performance targets.
  • Experience of managing resources, both staff and financial.
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, and confident.
  • Team player with a highly focused and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Active role in capacity management function.
