About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be providing person-centred active support to people living with disability. Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.

We are currently looking to fill 1 permanent part-time position. You must be available for all shifts:
Week 1
- Monday 5:30pm to 9:30am (sleepover)
- Thursday 1:30pm to 5:30pm
- Friday 5:30pm to 9:30am (sleepover)
Week 2
- Wednesday 5:30pm to 9:30am (sleepover)
- Friday 5:30pm to 9:30am (sleepover)
Key Responsibilities
- Support 2 male clients with daily living tasks
- Remain flexible and respond calmly to changing situations
- Follow and adapt to behaviour support plans
- Maintain a positive attitude and a good sense of humour to build genuine rapport
- Assist with daily routines including domestic assistance and personal care
- Promote client choice and independence in all interactions
Skills & Experience
- Experience with complex behaviour support required
- An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
