About the Role
This is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) role, providing 24/7 support for people with disability in shared housing or their own homes. Your work will involve, but is not limited to, managing personal care, assisting with daily living, and managing challenging behaviours.

Critical Note: Availability for sleepover shifts is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients facing mental health challenges, behaviours of concern, and complex needs
- Assist clients with:
- Bathing support
- Toileting assistance
- Dressing support
- Advocate for, and help clients exercise, their choice, expression, and active daily engagement
- Adapt support strategies and approaches to meet individual preferences and needs
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong background in mental health support
- Ability to implement positive behaviour support (PBS) strategies
- NSW unrestricted driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle
- Basic technical skills (proficient with mobile and desktop software)
- Current valid First Aid Certificate, meeting the requirements of HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
Successful applicants must also pass state-based probity checks, including:
- National Criminal History Record Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
