The Role
The Purpose
The Disease Level Partner (DLP) is pivotal in implementing our therapy area strategy, balancing patient outcomes with regional objectives. You’ll:
- Treat business challenges as your own, drawing on deep expertise of patient pathways, our medicine portfolio, and commercial opportunities.
- Align regional strategies with our global disease-area vision, creating partnerships that deliver better, faster healthcare access for patients.
- Act as a regional expert, building customer relationships and generating actionable insights that enhance our strategies and expand Roche’s reach.
Your impact lies in securing customer access, driving engagement, and championing patient-centred solutions—ensuring every stakeholder thrives in our interconnected ecosystem.
Your Opportunity
To excel in this role, you’ll need to:
- Communication Leadership Listen, collaborate, and educate cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strategic Insight
Identify partnering opportunities that directly improve patient outcomes.
- Are driver of mutually impactful commercial partnerships
- Regional Strategy Formulation Construct, present, and align therapy-area objectives, strategy, and goals with regional priorities.
- Customer Engagement & Growth
Engage with healthcare decision-makers, fostering positive experiences while growing the business at national and local levels.
- Act as a business architect, ensuring continuous commercial growth through insights and relationships.
- Commit to identifying opportunities in local policy, health tends, and emerging markets focused on access and impact.
- Agile Problem-Solving Apply MVP and sprint methodologies to drive disease-level progress and cross-functional projects with internal/external teams.
- Compliance Stewardship Uphold standards in knowledge management, CRM compliance, and Roche internal policies. Adhere to ABPI Code of Practice and Roche SOPs. Be patients’ guardian, ensuring ethical actions and compliance at every decision point. Continuous enhancement of VACC competencies (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach—self-development and mentorship).

Who You Are
Core Requirements

Education University degree in a relevant field (preferably healthcare, life sciences, or related industries).

Relevant Experience Track record in establishing strong stakeholder relationships, especially across:
- Clinical and commissioning systems (bureaucracy, health advisors, healthcare systems).
- Market access or commercial sales experience (medical affairs a plus).
- Preference for those with experience in neurology, particularly in Multiple Sclerosis.

Technical & Business Skills
- Awareness of advanced medicines sales techniques.
- Strong business acumen and portfolio management expertise—ability to prioritise multiple indications.
- Competitive and growth-driven mindset, with adaptability to evolving priorities.

Logistics & Ethical Standards Valid driving licence for business travel.
