Dispatch Operative – From £24,850, depending on experience – Portsmouth
Are you someone who likes keeping things organised and getting the details right? Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work in a busy warehouse where no two days feel quite the same?
The role Radiators 4u is looking for a reliable Dispatch Operative to join our friendly team in Portsmouth. You will help make sure every customer order leaves the warehouse accurately packed, correctly labelled and ready to arrive on time.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you will work closely with the wider warehouse team. You will need to be organised, comfortable working at pace and willing to help wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Checking products and delivery details before dispatch
- Labelling orders accurately and preparing them for collection
- Working with courier and transport providers
- Receiving incoming deliveries and storing stock correctly
- Updating stock records and helping with stock checks
- Moving products safely around the warehouse
- Keeping the dispatch area clean, tidy and well organised
- Supporting the team with general warehouse duties
- Following company procedures for safe product handling

The person Warehouse, dispatch or logistics experience would be useful, but it is not essential. You will need:
- Good attention to detail
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- A forklift licence or experience using warehouse equipment would be an advantage.
