BAJ is a leading Ghanaian indigenous company that provides end to end logistics solutions at all sea and air ports to and from the world. We provide all round logistics solutions as a one stop shop for all your Logistics needs. We are based in Accra, Takoradi and Tema.
We have a vacancy for a results-oriented and self-motivated person for the role of Dispatch Rider x 2 and invite applications from qualified persons. The role reports to the Admin Officer and is located at Tema.
Key Roles & Accountabilities
- Carry out delivery and pick-up of company’s documents and products.
- Ensure all scheduled deliveries are made on time.
- Load, count items and verify its contents before and at destination.
- Collect and submit invoices for items delivered.
- Handle other deliveries.
- Prepare, maintain and submit timely and accurate reports of activities especially client visits/calls.
- Ensure timely and professional submission of all information as requested by clients.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on activities and client’s details.
- Keep records of daily visits in the log books and report on issues.
- Report to supervisor on daily basis about your activities.
- Adhere to safe working practices and abide by the company’s quality, occupational health, safety, security and environment rules and regulations.
- Properly complete all motorbike and working documentations.
- Perform any other duties as required by management and supervisor.

Qualification and Experience
- Minimum qualification of Senior High School Certificate.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Qualified motor rider and possess a Valid driver’s license class A.
Technical Competencies
- Excellent attention to details.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time and prioritize work.
- Ability to read and apply service manuals.
- Well skilled in riding motorcycle.
- Adequate knowledge in the structure of Motor bikes.
- Ability to speak, understand, and write the English language.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and follow travel guides, plan and learn routes.
- Should be reliable and punctual.
- Basic IT Proficiency (MS Office suite and relevant software).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills.
