Dispenser

Pharmacy Dispenser – London

£13.92 to £16.64 per hour (across selected London locations)

About The Opportunity

As a Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services.

Working within the healthcare department of the store, you will build strong relationships with patients by listening and understanding their needs. Your role will include:

  • Greeting customers
  • Dispensing prescriptions
  • Ensuring the safe sale of medicines
  • Providing healthcare advice to support patients in making informed decisions about their health and wellness

Note: This is a store-based role in the UK only. Remote applications will not be considered, and international candidates must confirm eligibility (current/unrestricted UK right to work and relevant UK qualifications).


Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription Dispensing:

    • Handling orders, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and managing prescription collections
    • Ensuring the safe and legal supply of medicines
  • Collaborative Healthcare Work:

    • Assisting other healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy services
    • Providing patient care and advice, referring complex queries to the pharmacist as needed

    • Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dispensing safety
    • Staying updated with innovations and adhering to operational processes

    • Encouraging adherence to treatment plans and minimising medicine waste

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent)
  • OR in first year of an MPharm degree
  • Current and valid UK right to work (visa sponsorship not available for this role)

Desirable:

  • Experience in community pharmacy
