Dispenser (Pharmacy) – Store Role (£13.92–£16.64/hr) – Selected London Locations
About The Opportunity
As a Dispenser within one of our pharmacy stores, you’ll be a key member of our healthcare team, supporting the pharmacist and other professionals to deliver safe, efficient healthcare services.
Your role includes:
- Building strong patient relationships by listening to their needs
- Greetting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and ensuring safe medicine sales
- Providing advice using your healthcare knowledge to help patients make informed decisions
- Making a real difference every day through patient-centred care
Note: This is a store-based role in the UK only. Remote or international applicants will not be considered unless they meet UK qualification and Right to Work requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription dispensing – Ensuring safe supply through:
- Ordering medicines
- Labelling and dispensing prescriptions
- Endorsing and collecting prescriptions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to manage pharmacy services
- Advising patients on medicines and referring complex queries to the pharmacist
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for legal and safe dispensing
- Staying updated with store innovations and operational processes
- Supporting patients with prescription management (repeats, adherence, waste reduction)

What You’ll Need
Essential:
✔ Completed Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) OR currently enrolled in the first year of an MPharm degree ✔ Valid UK Right to Work status ⚠ Note: This role does NOT offer Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship
Desirable:
✅ Experience in community pharmacy (helpful but not mandatory)
