Pharmacy Dispenser – Hourly Rate: £13.92 to £16.64 (Locations within London)
About the Role
As a Dispenser within one of our pharmacy stores, you’ll play a vital role in the healthcare team, working alongside pharmacists and other professionals to deliver safe, efficient pharmacy and healthcare services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions and selling medicines
- Providing healthcare advice tailored to patients’ needs
- Developing strong relationships through active listening and support
This is an on-site position—remote applicants and international candidates without confirmed UK qualifications or right-to-work status will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Medical Safety
- Safely process prescriptions (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection)
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance
- Manage patient prescriptions with reliable repeats to streamline repeat dispensing
Patient Care & Consultation
- Offer unbiased medicine-related advice to patients
- Refer complex queries to the Pharmacist as needed

Requirements
Essential
- Completed NVQ2 (or equivalent) in Pharmacy Advising (or first-year progress towards an MPharm qualification)
- Valid UK right to work (visa sponsorship unavailable)
Preferred
- Prior experience in community pharmacy
