Dispenser
Dispenser (Pharmacy Role) – Selected Stores in London
Hourly Rate: £13.92 – £16.64 (varies by location)
About the Role
As a Dispenser in one of our stores, you will play a key role in the pharmacy team, supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Building strong relationships with patients by actively listening and tailoring healthcare advice to their needs.
- Greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and ensuring the secure supply of medicines.
- Providing expert guidance on medications and wellness, empowering patients to make informed decisions.
Important: This role is store-based in the UK only. Remote applicants and candidates from outside the UK (without UK qualifications and right-to-work evidence) will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription dispensing, including:
- Ordering, labelling, dispensing, and endorsing medications.
- Managing prescription collections safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to streamline pharmacy services.
- Providing patient care and advice, escalating complex queries to the pharmacist when necessary.
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for compliant, safe prescription handling.
- Keeping up with store innovations and compliance requirements.
- Enhancing patient experience by managing prescription repeats and promoting medication adherence.

Requirements
Essential:
- Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 qualification (or equivalent), or be partway through the first year of an MPharm degree.
- Current and valid UK right to work (this role is not sponsored for Skilled Worker Visas).
Desired (but not mandatory):
- Experience in community pharmacy.
