Dispenser – Pharmacy Team (London Locations)

Hourly Rate: £13.92 to £16.64 (selected London locations)


About the Role

As a Dispenser in one of our Pharmacy Teams, you will be a key member supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and professional pharmacy and healthcare services.

Your role will involve:

  • Building strong, trustful relationships with patients by listening to and understanding their healthcare needs.
  • Greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions safely, and ensuring proper medicine sales.
  • Offering healthcare advice to help patients make well-informed decisions about their health and wellness.

This is a store-based role within the UK. Remote applications will not be considered, and candidates outside the UK must confirm UK qualifications and the right to work.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription Dispensary Tasks:

    • Order, label, dispense, and monitor prescription medicines
    • Ensure safe collection and endorsing of prescriptions
    • Comply with UK regulations for prescription integrity
  • Patient Care & Support:

    • Provide tailored health advice to patients
    • Refer complex queries to the pharmacist where necessary
    • Foster positive experiences with prescription management and adherence

Requirements

Essential:

  • Completed a Pharmacy Advisor NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) or
  • Completed the first year of an MPharm degree and are progressing studies
  • Current and valid UK right to work (role not eligible for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship)

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in community pharmacy
